Fraserburgh Heritage Centre building (built c.1900) was originally a herring barrel store, then the foundry of the Consolidated Pneumatic Tool Company Ltd., before being converted in 1998 to a (650m²) modern visitor centre which illustrates the history of Fraserburgh and its people.
Fraserburgh Heritage Centre building is leased by Fraserburgh Heritage Society Ltd. and the Centre is run by volunteers from the Society.

Fyvie Homecoming 2014
The small, historic village of Fyvie in north-east Aberdeenshire has begun preparing for another year of Homecoming with a 4-day festival to take place in the village from 28th-31st August 2014.
